Sandcastle Bluff

Beach getaway with all the comforts of home!

Beach getaway with all the comforts of home! our recent stay at this property was incredible, so much so that I am prompted to write my first review of a rental property. The house sits atop a bluff with spectacular views of the beach.

The deck offers plenty of seating, grills, a fire pit and a nice enclosed area for kids to run and play. Plenty of seating and room for eating inside. TV/DVD player with a host of DVDS, including kids videos! Even had a play piano!

The house had two masters with on-suites, and a powder room, along with a room with a queen on main level. Upstairs was a lovely library that had books, puzzles, games, toys, kites, large dining table, rocking chair, kids bean bags. It sits off a pirate themed bedroom with bunk beds (equipped with a slide) and a queen bed.

The kitchen had everything you could ever imagine you'd need. The laundry room was well equipped too. The location on the coast was a bit isolated but absolutely breathtaking. I know there are more populated areas nearby, but you should really consider staying at this house. Beach access is only 1/4 mile away.

You can load everything up and drive onto the beach (there is a motorized portion of beach and non-motorized) and enjoy. We went to Pacific Beach to the playground with zipline (in the center of a newly constructed town) and followed it up by a trip to

The Sweet Life, a candy/ice cream shop with to-die-for homemade ice cream sandwiches. While it was nice to do the quick side trip, all agreed that it was even better to return to this quiet rental with the view.

We'd never been to this part of the Washington Coast, and everyone in our party agreed that not only would we be back, but we'll be renting this house again! We highly recommend!! – Rebeca, Sherwood, OR
